In this article I will give some brief explanation about noise which is coming from your refrigerator. This is very common complaint from everybody. So that I will write it here to save from retyping it over and over. The components on the compressor includes relay, starter and capacitor. There are some different styles but they pretty much do the same thing. These components allows electrical current to enter the compressor.
If the compressor is going bad it means shorted windings in the motor. This will causes the compressor to draw many amps of electricity. When compressor draws too much high current, when its overheated then you may hear “CLICK” sound, that is sound of, your refrigerator is not going to get cold any more. This is the reason better to fix noise quickly.
The clicking noise is very common, it will sound like it's coming from under the refrigerator. You may also hear buzzing. The overload will click when it cools down and current passes circuit again. So click off, click on. If the appliances parts and accessories are not good and want to get repaired, that time this cycle will happen again and again until components get repaired.
