If you want to know how test and replace Whirlpool Refrigerator Thermostat, follow this article and get more information ...!!!
A
Whirlpool
Refrigerator
Thermostat
can be fail in two ways:
1. Open Position
2. Closed Position
If
the Whirlpool Refrigerator Thermostat
fails in the open position,
then unit
will not run
all time.
Remove the screws from the
evaporator housing and pull the housing down(make sure that unit is
unplugged). Locate all the wires attached to the thermostat and
remove them. You can connect
the two
wires together and tape with electrical tape. Plug the unit back in
or turn on the breaker. When unit runs then replace the thermostat.
If
the Whirlpool
Refrigerator Thermostat fails in the closed
position, the
unit will run all the time. Running Refrigerator Thermostat
constantly will cause the evaporator to freeze up and
it will restrict the
airflow and causing the temperature to rise. Follow
the same instructions which described above to test the unit and
replace the refrigerator thermostat if necessary. Also be sure to
deliquesce the evaporator before turn the unit back on.
Suppose, if the evaporator continues to freeze up after replacing thermostat, call to the service company or else you can contact us to know other problems and get a immediate solutions.

Low
Pressure Control: This is also a type of control. Low Pressure
Control is located in the compressor compartment. This connected into
the refrigeration lines, controls the temperature by using pressure
of refrigerant flowing through the line. To replace Low Pressure
Control we need a service technician to fix the problems.
