Steps to Replace Refrigerator Fan Motor
Step 1: To replace the motor follow its two wires back to the starting point and Remove wires using a pair of needle – nose forceps.
Step 2: Use screwdriver or nut driver to remove the ascent screws that hold the fan association and bracket onto the metal divider in the motor area.
Step 3: Carefully remove the fan from the motor division. Next, remove the fan blade from fan motor by backing off thin rectangular nut, that secures the fan motor.
Step 4: Next, take the fan motor blade and rubber washer off the motor shaft. Remove the mounting bracket from the old refrigerator fan motor and install it on the new fan motor.
Step 5: Next, Install the rubber washer and fan blade on the new fan motor. Fix all the nuts and re-install the fan and attach the fan motor wires to the terminal block.
Step 6: Check no wires in the way of the blade or motor, that fan spins freely.Install the rear access cover, then plug the refrigerator back in and test run it.
